I'm now full time on a Mac and am currently exploring Solaris for use in a production cluster. Mainly because of ZFS, which is the most fabulous new thing to happen to IT in 8 years. I'm installing it as a VMWare guest OS on my Mac. Over the past two months or so, I have tried to install Solaris 10 at least 10 times with no success.

I have an iPhone. I have had one since the first hour it went on sale. My wife stood inline on the day of the launch a week before our wedding. Yeah, I'm a lucky guy. :)

In my eyes there is nothing out there that comes close.

BUT.

That's a big BUT.

Driving me nuts.

If you are a developer on OS X and you are customer of JetBrains using IDEA the Java IDE, it is a cloudy year for you!

There are two critical bugs that haven't been fixed in over 6 months since being reported to JetBrains. IDEA enabled my fulltime switch to OS X and now it is unusable after 4 - 5 open files or half a work day. Whichever comes first.
